The 2019 Iowa Regional Convention starts at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 28th & runs through 4:30 PM on Friday, March 1st at the Courtyard by Marriott, 2405 SE Creekview Drive in Ankeny. The association business meeting will be at 8 PM on Thursday and the rest of the convention agenda can be found at the link below. The Alumni Association is currently requesting nominations for the following offices: Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer for two year terms. We also need a Membership Coordinator & Fundraising Coordinator for the remaining year in those terms. To be eligible, you must be a member of the alumni association in good standing (one time dues are $50… past Regional Officers are exempt from the membership fee), and not currently a voting member of an active chapter. If you are interested in running for office, please contact us before October 31st!!! We will be sending ballots for an email vote.

Just a quick reminder as we’re about a little over two weeks away from the fall regional event. We will be electing officers (VP, Secretary, Treasurer) and voting on a revised set of bylaws during our business meeting. (Details on the bylaws vote coming later this week.)

The conference will be on October 4th & 5th at Hotel Renovo, 11167 Hickman Road in Urbandale. (Next to Living History Farms / Machine Shed Restaurant)
